Greetings Cavalier Families, Students, Staff, and Community Members,
It is with great excitement, optimism, and pride that I welcome you to another incredible year at Parkway Middle School of the Arts- the only official Magnet School of the Arts in Broward County Public Schools. As we begin the 2026-2027 school year, we are proud to introduce our theme:
No Limits: Just Levels
This theme reflects our belief that every student has unlimited potential. At Parkway, we are not defined by limitations-we are defined by growth. Each challenge is an opportunity to level up; each achievement is a stepping stone to greater success, and every day is a chance to reach new heights academically, artistically, socially, and personally.
This year, we will encourage our students to embrace a growth mindset, push beyond their comfort zones, and continuously strive for excellence. Success is not about where you start; it is about your willingness to grow, learn, and elevate yourself to the next level.
Our Focus for 2026–2027:
✅ Level Up Academically
We will maintain high expectations and provide rigorous, engaging instruction designed to challenge and support every learner. Our goal is for all students to demonstrate growth, achievement, and a passion for learning.
✅ Level Up Through the Arts
As a School of the Arts, we will continue to nurture creativity and innovation through outstanding programs in visual arts, dance, music, theater, and creative expression. We look forward to showcasing the extraordinary talents of our Cavaliers throughout the year.
✅ Level Up in Character and Leadership
We are committed to developing students who demonstrate integrity, responsibility, respect, and leadership both inside and outside the classroom. Every student has the potential to lead and make a positive impact on our school community.
✅ Level Up Student Wellness and Safety
A safe, supportive, and inclusive environment remains our top priority. We will continue fostering a culture where every student feels valued, connected, and empowered to thrive.
✅ Level Up Family and Community Partnerships
Strong school-home partnerships are essential to student success. We encourage families to stay engaged, participate in school activities, and remain informed through our regular communications. At Parkway Middle School of the Arts, we believe that greatness is achieved at one level at a time. Together, we will challenge ourselves to grow beyond expectations, celebrate every accomplishment, and support one another on the journey toward excellence.
As we embark on this new year, I encourage every student to embrace opportunities, take positive risks, and remember that there are No Limits- Just Levels. Whether in the classroom, on the stage, in the studio, or within our community, each step forward is a step toward becoming your best self.
